The design of the car is nothing short of stunning, the body color is resplendent, and the powertrain is by no means a slouch. All three things that are important to any supercar, and Maserati hits a home run with the GranCabrio Convertible Sport.
Powered by the brand’s all-alloy 4.6-liter V8 engine that produces 450 horsepower and 376 lb/ft of torque and mated to a ZF six-speed automatic transmission, the GranCabrio Convertible Sport is one supercar that will come out ahead and stand alone. As for top speed, the GranCabrio Convertible Sport peaks at 177 mph.
The GranTurismo Convertible Sport is separated from the base car by its black grille including Trident emblem with red highlights. The headlights have a black tint and the redesigned side skirts now share the rest of the car’s overall body color. A new color—Rosso Trionfale (red)—is also be available for the GranTurismo Convertible Sport.
A price tag of $136,000 is for the standard GranCabrio, the GranCabrio Convertible Sport will sell for somewhere around the $142,000 range.
