Great imagination and creativity and only one certainty: that Italian fashion confirms its leadership in the world
Again, Milan showcases the best in female fashion. For six days, the glamor of the big names have left their mark in fascinating locations chosen by the National Chamber of Fashion who oversaw this edition of the Fashion Week. Presented were collections for autumn-winter 2014/15, and out of it came valuable information on what will be the trend in the coming months. Above all, there was the perception of how the entire fashion industry is in good health. In fact leading, in some ways, the position of made in Italy in the world.
Designers drew women in Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Ferragamo, Cavalli and many other famous brands – in tricolor.
Strokes of color that take us back in time. The sixties came back with force and admiration in the skirts, a bit wider and filled with floral themes. Flowers and colors that bind us to a rich period of great innovation and positive energy for everyone. These were the years of the great hope in Italy and in the world. And perhaps this is the strong signal that also comes from the Milan fashion shows. The research and the desire of a great change that reigns in the world of fashion. And the signs are clear, even in the push in the search for innovative and luxurious fabrics. In designs, you draw a modern woman, but also maintain to dream and to hold, to some extent, the role of princess.
A woman of a thousand faces comes out; engaged more and more in the business world, and at the same time able not to lose the central role in the family.
And the “must” in Milan? These days there is much talk of the Gucci collection. Appreciated in all directions for a line that shows to be adapted in a modern key. A beautiful coat of pastel colors that surround you gently.
In the memories of Milan Fashion Week 2014, are also days of carefree and colorful parades by Fendi…even with the shooting of remote controlled micro drones with high-definition devices and Parrot Air Drone 2.0, blending fiction with fact, used to capture and broadcast the activity on the catwalk. Even with spectators hearing the “buzz” and seeing hover drones over their heads, Fendi was as elegant as always. The designer’s clothes with fur inserts and strong references looked almost geometric with spatial characteristics drawn on the clothes.
The 2014 show reflects the strength of Roberto Cavalli. The real “fire of fashion,” considering their show on the catwalk. As well as the elegance and charm of the Alberta Ferretti line presented by Frankie Morello.
The choices most extravagant? In discussion are already a cult of the golden shoes by MaxMara. But many of the designers are chasing dreams and fairy tales. Thus, the calls are strong for dresses designed for example by Laura Mancini, ushering in the new house in Via Montenapoleone, presenting the new Four Seasons Collection. Twelve dream dresses. One per month.
But new trends have emerged in the fashion road. It, the Milan street style that has characterized these days, is very bizarre, whimsical, colorful and also full of joy. Because fashion is joy, and, despite everything, a great designers freedom in expressing themselves through new, bold and creative outfits.
And as for reporting the world of fashion and style, many fashion bloggers have been disruptive on the streets of Milan. They are mostly concentrated around Europe, and meet in these streets during the six days of Fashion Week. A show within the show.
