A night of emotion. The sails of song are unfurled.
Anacapri is sea, arches and steps in a silver glinted sky.
An ancient setting of encounters, stories, memories. The “Paradiso” theatre is a triumph of people, music and words.
The final concert of Bruno Lauzi still dwells in the hearts of many.
The Anacapri singer-songwriter prize is dedicated to his memory.
For the 5th edition, the stage is filled with white flowers, the grand piano stands on the shores of a melody, and music touches the soul through the voices and emotions of seven young singer-songwriters.
The evening is masterfully presented by Andrea Vianello and the actress Francesca Ceci. It is the festival of music composers. Gushes of emotion accompany the songs of Edoardo Vianello, Carlo Marrale, Franco Fasano, Maurizio Lauzi and Iskra Menarini. The “Paradiso” theatre is filled with music and feelings for the words of Marino Bartoletti.
The moment has arrived for writing. The sparkle of the Frank Sinatra fountain pens by Montegrappa (main sponsor of the event) celebrates Giampiero Mughini for journalism and Giancarlo de Cataldo for fiction. Not just a pen, but also a jewel in silver and resin from the Bassano del Grappa-based company, to accompany the journey of words.
The two writers are presented their awards by the young Diana Aquila, fashion styling student at the Marangoni Institute in Milan, daughter of Giuseppe Aquila, Chief Executive Officer of Montegrappa.
A sparkling glance, in an elegant 1960s silk dress. Music that flows clearly and victoriously. A sign of quality, a twinkle. It is the dead of night. The blue sky of Anacapri is a ceiling of stars. On an old vinyl record, the voice of Frank Sinatra sings “My Way”. Two lovers embrace in the moonlight.
