A collaboration between two Italian icons of transportation and fun
Two symbols of Italian style and elegance converge in the form of the FIAT 500 Riva. Aimed at motorists seeking the same exclusivity of the Aquariva Super yacht – the current Riva icon – but in an accessible, everyday package built for the road.
Setting the Riva edition apart from the rest of the Fiat lineup are numerous nautical touches. It’s painted a unique shade of Sera blue, which is exclusive to the yacht maker, and offset by aquamarine coach lines, chrome trim and blue-accented, 20-spoke, 16-inch alloys.
The interior design will be stunning and elegant, with the introduction of premium quality wood; mahogany and maple as used by Riva. You will find find mahogany wood trim on the door sills, shift knob, and dashboard, where it’s also inlaid with maple. The seats are upholstered in ivory Poltrona Frau leather with tone-on-tone ivory stitching and blue piping.
Under the hood, the New Fiat 500 Riva future model will be offered with the well known Fiat engines. Ranging from the 900c TwinAir petrol delivering either 84bhp or 104bhp, up to the 95bhp 1.3-litre diesel. Also, the manual transmission system will be standard while the automatic gearbox will be offered as an option.
Unlike the high-end Riva luxury yachts, the Fiat 500 Riva is expected to be in fact, relatively affordable, although exact price yet to be announced. Current availability expected to be the end of August 2016.
The first 500 cars will also feature a numbered badge which can be personalized by the owner.
