Available exclusively in Panerai’s boutiques across the world
The iconic Italian watch brand, Panerai, has perfected watches that stem from the passion for the sea. About a year ago, they released the Panerai Radiomir “Mediterraneo” edition watches. Now, they have added a couple new models to the collection.
These new Panerai Radiomir Mediterraneo editions celebrate the deep blue color of the ocean with dials that give the impression you are looking over the side of a boat into the depths of the sea. The outside of the dial is in a dark blue and gets gradually lighter towards the middle. This color gradient is achieved using an exclusive new dial manufacturing process.
The first version comes in a 45mm size with an automatic (PAM01078) movement that was designed and developed in-house at the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel. It is a Panerai 31-jewel automatic calibre P.4000. It comes with a three-day power reserve and is fitted in a brushed titanium case, which is both light and robust. The watch features a dark blue alligator strap with beige contrast stitching and secured by a pin buckle. The rear reveals a display case back with a white wave pattern printed on the inside of the sapphire crystal.
PAM01078 list price is $11,200 USD
The second version comes in a 42mm a mirror-polished stainless steel case with a manual-winding movement (PAM01144). It also has a three-day power reserve and was designed and produced entirely in-house. It is a Panerai 21-jewel manual-wound calibre P.1000. Turning the watch over reveals a display case back with a white wave pattern printed on the inside of the sapphire crystal.
