The high-end Italian jeweller Buccellati, owned by Clessidra Investment Fund, opened its flagship U.S. store this month in Chicago.
Spread over 3 levels on the prestigious Oak Street, the mezzanine shows the modern design elements of blond wood and smokey mirrors, and the traditional vitrines that are signature in all Buccellati stores – the Murano chandalier.
The Eighteenth Century Pharmacy room is the heart of the boutique. Gilt panels, mercury glass mirrors and a Murano chandelier makes this the perfect space to sip a glass of champagne while trying on Buccellati jewels.
The store’s silver department features spectacular one-of-a-kind pieces as well as frames, flatware and gifts for every occasion.
Pieces start at $300 but can easily reach more than $1 million for custom-made, one-of-a-kind designs. Buccellati is known for its “eternity rings” that start at about $10,000.
