Fine wines and olive oil inspired by Renzo Rosso’s passion for good food and wine
Since 2001, Diesel Farm has been an agricultural company in the verdant, rolling hills of Marostica, Northern Italy. The territory covers more than 100 hectares at an altitude of 300 metres, kissed by warm sunshine and caressed by crystalline air. It lies in a unique position, where pre-Alpine and Adriatic Sea winds meet and the soil is calcareous, making this a unique winemaking country. All the vineyards are exposed to the South. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are cultivated on the mildest slope of the Farm. The fresher slope, which has a higher thermic range, is suitable for the production of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero.
Renzo Rosso, founder of the Italian fashion house Diesel, is also behind Diesel Farm. Inspired by his passion for good food and wine, he ventured into agriculture and founded Diesel Farm. On the 6 hectares Diesel Farm estat Renzo Rosso produces white and red wine, as well as grappa and olive oil. The names of the product are rather obvious and go from Nero Di Rosso, Bianco Di Rosso to Olio Di Rosso. Packaging is simple and elegant.
Diesel wine is produced using traditional, antique craftsman techniques, making for an authentic, rich flavour. However, Diesel offers a contemporary twist to traditional wine and the farm is not only a production centre, but also a location for fashion shoots and parties.
