In his Carnegie Hall debut, Neapolitan pianist Marco Ciampi presents a program featuring an unpublished work by nineteenth-century composer Constantino Palumbo. The program also includes works of great composers in a tribute to Italy, as even Rachmaninoff’s Second Sonata was written while the composer was in Rome.
Ciampi has won over 30 national and international piano competitions, and has appeared as a soloist at venues such as the Moscow International House of Music, the Seymour Centre in Sydney, Venice’s Teatro La Fenice, and more. He has performed piano recitals in Serbia, Germany, France, Norway, Great Britain, and Spain.
