Expected to open early in 2013
Italian developer Prime Investimenti announced this week that it is opening a 31-apartment vacation ownership resort called the “Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Borgo alle Vigne“ in Tuscany with Hilton Grand Vacations doing sales and marketing for the “weekly vacation ownership intervals at the resort “ and Best International doing sales and marketing services for the resort’s fractional offering.
Mirco Clementoni, President of Prime Investimenti, told OPP this week that “Hilton Grand Vacations will also be responsible for providing homeowners’ association management services and resort operations.”
It is the Hilton brand’s first foray into Tuscany and Clementoni also commented that he is “delighted to be working in partnership with Hilton and Best International in bringing the project to market. Following extensive work to locate and receive permissions for this project, we’re now in an exciting position to launch the fabulous properties of Borgo alle Vigne”
Construction work is underway and the resort is expected to open early in 2013. It will be “a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with regional Tuscan architectural influences.”
Mark Wang, president of Hilton Grand Vacations, told OPP that the “project provides an extraordinary opportunity to expand the Hilton Grand Vacations Club brand in Europe and we are privileged to collaborate with Prime Investimenti sri and Best International. We are looking forward to introducing this iconic location to our 176,000+ Club Members, who favour Italy among their top travel destinations.”
