On a mission to bring a new authentic Italian coffee and espresso enjoyment to the American market
Considering 30-40% of the world’s population consume coffee daily, and in the United States it is about 65% of the total population – it is safe to say for the most part, people know and love their coffee.
You know the major players in the market such as Lavazza, illy, etc. Great brands that have stood the test of time, are loved and produce great coffees. But sometimes a smaller lesser-known brand will burst onto the market, turn heads and and awaken tastebuds. Meet Saravella® coffee.
I first sampled this artisan coffee at a Chefs Who Care event in 2023 and was very impressed with the aroma depth of flavors. Saravella was founded in 2022 by Italian-American Francis Cinoa, an expert and Italian coffee aficionado, along with his partner Jane. The couple found themselves uninspired with the ordinary, mass produced imported Italian coffee brands. They decided to search the globe for the best beans, and all over Italy for the best artisan roasting techniques, and Saravella was born.
Saravella desires to cater to the discriminating Italian coffee aficionado, as well as anyone who just wants a great tasting cup of coffee. They craft their caffè in Italy with old world traditional methods. Taking pride in bean selections for its blends with specialized attention of limited quantity artisanal small batch roasting; no huge machines and vats. The vision and goal of creating a coffee and espresso that truly captures the fresh authentic Italian aroma and taste – that’s Saravella.
With offerings of whole bean and ground coffees, Saravella can be found in many New Jersey Italian specially markets, such as D’Angelo Italian Market in Princeton and Dolce & Clemente’s in Robbinsville. Saravella also participates in many tri-state area Italian festivals and events.
