Benetti’s 351-foot FB277 is the largest yacht ever built by a private Italian shipyard
The highly anticipated custom motor yacht ‘Benetti FB277’ is being built by Benetti in Italy at their Livorno shipyard, and is scheduled to be delivered to her owner this year.
Benetti FB277’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 8 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 32 crew onboard in 18 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Benetti FB277 features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks and features a Beach Club, Helipad (Touch-n-go) and Swimming Pool.
Project FB277 was commissioned by an experienced owner, and Australian media reports suggest that his latest addition will be officially named IJE- the first initials of the owner’s three children.
The motor yacht is a collaboration of Benetti’s in-house teams, who are responsible for her exterior styling, interior design and naval architecture, which is conjunction with Pierluigi Ausonio.
Following delivery, FB 277 will be crowned the 40th largest superyacht in the world. She boasts top speeds of 18.5 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
“FB277 is, in reality, more beautiful and impressive than we could ever have possibly imagined,” said Benetti CEO Franco Fusignani, shortly after the launch. “Today, we’ve recognized the first essential step in strengthening our brand to offer the same outstanding, high-end vessels we’re already known for in the megayacht sector to the gigayacht world. This boat puts Benetti on the map for building yachts over 330 feet.”
