A fellow Italian, hero, World Trade Center disaster responder, family man, proud father and friend to everyone he comes in contact with – now desperately needs the help of others.
Asbury Park (NJ) Firefighter Jason Fazio remains in critical condition at St. Barnabas Burn Center after sustaining injuries on January 10, 2011, at a three-alarm fire on Main Street. 41 year old Fazio, a 17-year veteran of the department, was performing a search for victims when he was caught in a flashover that forced him to save himself by jumping out of a second floor window. His injuries include fractures and second and third-degree burns over 48 percent of his body.
