Speaking about the brand’s heritage, the Chaos wristwatch and their participation in BaselWorld
Another hugely successful display at BaselWorld provided Montegrappa with the ideal opportunity to me a wide cross-section of retailers, distributors, clients and members of the press. Exhibiting at BaselWorld 2013 with a stand resembling one of the brand’s dedicated boutiques, Montegrappa was presented with the panoply of its full catalogue on show for all to appreciate.
Those new to the marque were able to discover that Montegrappa is the oldest Italian manufacturer of fine writing instruments, founded in 1912 as ‘Manifattura pennini d’oro e penne stilografiche’ (‘Maker of gold nibs and fountain pens). Their products are still manufactured in the original factory by the shores of the river Brenta, in Bassano del Grappa, near Vicenza, in the North-East of Italy.
With interest so high in the brand, increased by the arrival of the Chaos wristwatch, the Elvis Presley and the Salvador Dalí pen collections and many other new products, Giuseppe Aquila, CEO of Montegrappa, was invited to speak with PINGDUBAI.com and VIRTUOZITY. He spoke about the brand’s heritage, the watch and their participation in BaselWorld.
