In October 2013, sisters Olga and Tatiana Poliektova, were invited to Italy to participate in one amazing project titled: Can’t Forget Italy (http://www.cantforget.it/). The projects goal was to gather some of the most creative minds around to work on a Digital Diary of Italy. Young photographers, video makers, and animators working on the project were to share their artistic impression of Italy. Totally subjective, undemocratic and creative.
As part of the project, the group had chose and invited 8 film directors from all over the world to shoot 8 films about their vision of the Liguria region. Everyone involved had made films on different themes and in different styles. Olga and Tatiana made their film with a mirror, wanting to show how it reflects the city, how it shows the hidden places and the hidden dreams. The final creation allows viewers to journey into the soul of the city, where people are the mirror of the place they live.
