“The Symphony of Engines – 90 Years of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este & BMW Automobiles”
Each month of May, automobile enthusiasts gather to admire some of the most elegant vintage and historic cars and motorcycles in existence at the annual Concours d’Elegance held on the banks of Lake Como in Northern Italy at Villa d’Este.
Considered one of the most anticipated annual classic car events in all of Europe – owners of vintage and historic cars and motorcycles may enter the competition in several classes to compete for trophies and awards. In addition, every odd year, RM Auctions arrange a public auction of top vintage and classic cars to coincide with the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa Este.
While participants and guests can enjoy the luxury cars at relative tranquility at closed events in the grounds of the lavish Ville d’Este Grand Hotel, the general public can also view the cars and motorcycles on public days.
In 2019, the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este takes place from 24 to 26 May 2019 with “The Symphony of Engines” the overriding theme of the 90th anniversary of the event.
The sound in Cernobbio, Northern Italy, will come out of the tailpipes of around 50 classic cars competing for the favour of the Jury and the public spectators with their visual splendour and also their acoustic charms.
