The success of the Italian luxury brand feeds plans to open 15 new hotels
In 2001, Bulgari formed a joint venture with Luxury Group – the Luxury Division of Marriott International to launch their luxury hotel brand, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. To date, the partnership counts six locations in its portfolio. Bulgari currently operates hotels in Milan, London, Bali, Beijing, Dubai and Shanghai.
The luxury Italian jeweler, which is part of the LVMH group of brands, is now planning to open 15 new hotels including Paris in 2020, Moscow 2021 and Tokyo 2022.
Bulgari’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin in an interview in Affari & Finanza stated the company is ready for expansion: “The long apprenticeship of these years has allowed us to continue to grow both in terms of occupancy, despite the market has been enriched by numerous competitors.”
Bulgari has seen successful growth with each area of their business. In 2017, for its watch division, Bulgari launched several new highly successful models, including new ladies’ watches Serpenti, B.Zero1 and Diva, as well as the new Octo models for men.
